Or, are you looking to cook a homemade meal after a day of work or play?  Do you want to find that one of a kind cooking gift?  Then Old Town Oil has premium oils, vinegars, spices and, ingredients that will take your food experience to another level. It's a great place to buy a gift for the cook in the family or for your Chicago hosts.


rESTAURANTS & pubs

Looking expand your palate while traveling?  You’ve found the right neighborhood!  Old Town has all types of cuisines to fill everyone's domestic or international cravings.  Kamehachi is Chicago’s Original Sushi Bar since 1967; its enticing name means “eight turtles” in Japanese. Or do you crave some of Chicago’s best Italian food? Orso and Topo Gigio are two of Old Town’s favorite old-school Italian restaurants that will make you want to keep coming back to the neighborhood.   

And if you are looking for a spot for after work drinks or casual encounters with old or new friends, Old Town Alehouse is the place for you.  It’s cash only, and features the artwork of owner Bruce Cameron Elliot on the walls. Is it time to watch your favorite sports team game? VIG's is the place for you!  This hip, trendy, warehouse-style spot features sports-themed art around its walls and has multiple TVs so you can keep up with as many games as you want. It also features delicious gastropub food, craft beer, and unique cocktails; meaning this is the perfect place for everyone.


OLD TOWN attractions

If you're a history buff, St. Michael Catholic Church, located in 456 W Eugenie St., is a must-see in Old Town. This historic church is hard to miss with its 290-foot spire can be easily spotted from various spots in the neighborhood. 

In the mood for a comedy show? Check out the Zanies Comedy Night Club one of Chicago's longest-running stand-up comedy clubs. And if you are staying with us during June, you won't want to miss The Old Town Art Fair it’s Old Town’s biggest event of the year! This fine art fair also includes the Garden Walk, music stages, and other fun activities around the neighborhood.
